Facilities information

The comfortable lounges of the country club provide the ideal meeting place for making new friends. During the holiday season entertainment takes place in the large function room, or you can choose from the extensive menu and enjoy a meal overlooking the beautiful valley beyond. The Bar and Restaurant are open from Wednesday to Sunday, including Sunday lunches and are run independantly from the Woodlands Holiday Park. We are not responsilbe for those faciliies. If you have booked your accommodation privately please check with you host as to facilities available.

There is a pool table and a T.V. lounge. You can enjoy a morning swim in the heated outdoor swimming pool which is open from Whitsun until September, take a walk in the woods beyond the park and enjoy the splendid views, or if you prefer, there is the table tennis room. A laundrette equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities is close by. Dogs are permitted on the Park provided they are kept on a lead. Site facilities are available during the main holiday season at the Management’s discretion The swimming pool may be closed at times for essential repair and maintenance during the season.

Holiday Homes & Chalets

All our Holiday Homes are privately owned and all the Holiday Home pitches have full services ie: mains drainage, water, electric and TV points with Freeview availabilty. All makes of new Holiday Home can be purchased on the Park and pre-owned Holiday Homes may be purchased subject to availability. The Park licence allows 7 day occupancy from 1st March to 31st October and a 5 day occupancy between 1st November to 28th February (The Park is closed on a Tuesday and Wednesday). The Park cannot be used as your sole or main residence, proof of your permanent address where you reside and can be contacted will be required.

The Park has a total of 122 Holiday Homes and 55 Chalets on 20 acres of well established and developed land.

Touring Caravans

There is accommodation for twenty touring caravans on hard standing or in the recently opened grassed paddock. All have electric hook-up (5amp maximum supply), T V and water connection and 10 have mains sewage connection points. The shower and toilet block with free constant hot water is located nearby together with a washing up area and a chemical toilet disposal point. A picnic area is located in the touring park and all park facilities are included in the overnight charge.
